Please note that as 1098 head castings are becoming increasingly difficult to source we will require your casting to work on.

Available with 2 options:-

no water bypass
with water bypass adaptor tube (12A2075) for fitment of the bypass hose (GZA2086)
(You will require the (GWP134)water pump to which has the bypass tube outlet.)
The water bypass hose circulates cooler water to the thermostat, allowing the heater to warm up faster, perfect for those cold winter mornings!

Reconditioning Process
Each head is carefully selected and thoroughly checked before being cleaned and any defective parts discarded.

All heads are then refaced and fitted with new “Unleaded” valve seats, new valve guides, new valve stem seals, and new valve springs.

Finally each head is tested, inspected and painted, so that when you receive your Mini Sport reconditioned cylinder head you have our “quality assurance”.

Refundable Surcharge

Please note that the price includes a refundable surcharge. To receive this refund, simply send us your old cylinder head. If the cylinder head is in salvageable condition, we will process your refund promptly.

However, if the cylinder head is too damaged and cannot be repaired, we will not be able to issue a refund.
